I have so much fun hanging out with the twins every Monday. We have fun watching "Elmo" and going on outings in the afternoon. I like to give them the choice of where to go. Most of the time they will choose getting a "boon" (balloon) at Macey's grocery store over almost every other activity I suggest. Here are some great pictures from the past 6 or so months...
Here are the girls at the McDonald's play area. They LOVE that slide, and are always trying to crawl back up the slide instead of using the stairs.
Here are the twins posing with Mark. I love this picture of the 3 of them. They all look so happy. I am usually pretty strict about them eating the food FIRST before playing on the toys. They were waiting for the chicken nuggets here.
Here are the girls sleeping in the spare bedroom.
Joni on the swings at Paul Reams Park. We like to go to this park because of the walking trails, the duck pond and the swing set. We usually feed the ducks and then play on the swing set.
Maile LOVES the swings. She looks so happy here!
Joni loves the swings too but she is more adventurous and also LOVES going down the slide.
This was taken SEVERAL months ago, but I didn't want to post the picture until Kristina (their mom) had exposed them to carbonated beverages more. Mark had gone to the store and brought home a Dr. Pepper for me. I had put it on the side of the couch (almost hidden) and went into the kitchen. I heard Maile coughing and came running out thinking she was choking. I found her like this. She LOVED it, and by the coughing I could tell this was her first exposure.
Ahhhh.....tastes good. You can tell by the look in her eyes (and all the soda on her neck) that she is hooked! I let her drink it for awhile but then took it away before she had too much caffeine.
These next two videos document the first time we fed the girls Pop Rocks. I love the second video where Joni reaches over and gives Mark a big hug.
I waited awhile to post the pop rocks and Dr. Pepper...they both happened several months ago. I like to expose them to new things. They love me and trust me enough to know I wouldn't let them do anything that would hurt them. They have been open to everything I have introduced so far. I gave them tomato juice last week and they LOVED it.
OH, I hope I didn't give the wrong impression -- it's clear you love them very, very much and would never do anything to hurt them. Good on 'em for liking tomato juice...I haven't had that in ages.

I love that immediately after documenting the Dr. Pepper you chronicle the poprocks. Thank goodness it wasn't at the same time. ;)
