Here are the rest of our pictures from Disney World that day:
Favorite picture from the blog:

When I was researching Disney World I discovered that they sell turkey legs. Soon after taking pictures at the castle Mark decided he needed a turkey leg. We found one (in Frontier land) and this is the picture of Mark taking his first bite. The leg was 1.5 pounds, it was huge (but looks average in Mark's hands).

Here is Mark still eating the turkey leg at the entrance to Adventure Land.

Here is a picture of the 50 foot drop on Splash Mountain. For anyone not familiar with this ride, it tells the story of Briar Rabbit. The drop at the end is the only really scary part. You can see the log filled with people near the end of the drop.

Here is Stephanie on the Jungle Cruise. I think this is my "Hurry and take the picture" smile.

I LOVED the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The renovations are amazing!! I loved the fact that they played music from the movies and showed Capt Jack Sparrow and other movie characters in the ride. I picked up a set of Pirate Ears in the gift shop here.

Mark smiling in line while we were waiting to go see the Tiki bird show.

This is one of my favorite old school Disney movies. I loved the tree house!

Me with my pirate ears posing near one of the rooms in the tree.

This is one of my favorite rides. It was Mark's first experience.

Mark posing near the entrance.

Mark took a lot of pictures in the ride. Here is the Maori warrior dancing with the kiwi birds in the Polynesian section of the ride (They feature children dancing and singing from all the countries of the world in this ride).

After the Small World ride we hurried over to Liberty Land to get a good seat for the "Celebrate Today" Parade. It was great seeing all the Disney Characters from the movies I grew up loving.

Snow White and her Prince

The step mother and step sisters from Cinderella. Great acting. Their faces looked sour the whole time and their make up was over the top ridiculous!

Snow White and her Prince. They also featured Aladdin and Jasmine; Beauty and the Beast; Ariel and her Prince among others

After we ate at Liberty Tavern (excellent food) we went to the Hall of Presidents; waited for 40 minutes to go on the Peter Pan ride (well worth it) and went on several other rides. I wish I would have gotten pictures at the Haunted Mansion!! Here are me and Mark taking a quick picture on the Teacup ride (one of my favorites). It was dark by this time...

We finished the last ride (The Buzz Lightyear Ride) 5 minutes before the firework show started. I saw and did everything I wanted to that day. I LOVED the firework show!!

The Finale. Afterward we got pie and cheesecake at a bakery on Main Street U.S.A., picked up our purchases and took the monorail back to our car.
